The third annual 3D Printing & Bio-printing in Healthcare conference and exhibition took place in Brussels, Belgium, on October 11-12th. Among key industry leaders, business heads, medical consultants, researchers and engineers from around the world you were also able to meet Ortho Baltic team members. During the event they invited to visit the booth and pay attention to presentations about the importance of pre-operative planning.

Sales engineer Karolis Gelažauskas reviewed the current 3D virtual pre-operative planning situation, mentioned the ways how to improve it, and what is important in developing 3D virtual planning platforms in general.
At the Ortho Baltic booth it was a possibility to learn more about 3D printed personalized implants, their production chain processes, the importance of pre-operative virtual planning and 3D platforms developed for it.
The main focus of this year’s event was on the most innovative clinical cases and achievements in implant manufacturing, biomaterials, 3D printing and bioprinting in medicine. Ortho Baltic team are thankful to the organizers for the opportunity to get acquainted with the most important trends in the industry, for establishing new contacts for the projects in the future.
