Ortho Baltic is planning to install a solar power plant on the building’s roof and part of the company’s facade during the year of 2017. By investing in green energy company will achieve the reduction of purchased energy that is bough in market, its intensity and will manage better the power supply failures. This in turn will contribute to the release into the environment of greenhouse gases and other air pollutants emission reduction.
For the implementation of this project, Ortho Baltic is funded by 70 thousand euros support from the European Union (EU). Ortho Baltic activities strictly complies with the environment management standard ISO 14001:2004 since 2007, and we are constantly increasing the investment in clean environment preservation. Upon implementation of solar power installation project Ortho Baltic will achieve “Green Lithuanian Energy” certificate as a company using and producing electricity from renewable energy sources.
